In a  world of suffering and depression, several MOTHERS  are trying to bring a ray of hope and joy to the ones most vulnerable among us: sick children.  We act in emergency situations which occur as a result of the serious illness of the people who reach out for our help, especially children.

We are ready to take the risk and act promptly to help the ones in need.  We encourage innovations, creativity and flexibility and we promote a permanent attitude of learning, reflection and development in order to increase or understanding and experience.

The  M.A.M.E (Mothers) associations was founded on April 7 2009 – its name being linked to a group of „young enthusiastic mothers”  who launched the project  of an association that would deal with the promotion of various cases of sick children (an not only).   „Mothers” with big heartrs who are active members of various forums and who have come together to help children with serious illnesses, each time the occasion presented itself.

We would like the Association to help the thousands of cancer patients in Romania and not support only individual cases.  We will therefore try, as much as our resources allow, to put together projects  aimed to provide various needed and modern machines for the Romanian health system, machines that are so needed for diagnosing as well as treating this disease.  There is a huge need in Romania for such machines. 

We are ready to embrace any suggestion that may generate funds in order for these projects to come to life.  We assure you of our full support and vizibility, as well as of complete transparency and seriousness as we have managed to show through the humanitarian and social actions coordinated so far.  (www.babycafe.ro)

We are kindly asking all of you whose hearts go out to the pain of these innocent children as well as to the horror that this awful illness brings to them, to invest wholeheartedly in this association that has taken it upon itself to make the fight go on.  Any individual or legal entity  interested in getting involved in our effort of raising needed funds for these treatments, through donations or any type of action that may generate money, please contact the Association directly for more details. 

Through all we do, through our will power, through our intelligence and sensitivity, we wish to bring our modest contribution to changing destinies for the best.
